This archive contains the following files:

 1. caxxx11x.msf - the CAMAT software version 1.1.x (x: current release)
 2. readme.txt - this file

To use the CAMAT sofware, a licence file is necessary. It is supplied
by your CAMAT dealer and is named according to the serial number of your
camera:

51yyyyy.msf - licence file (51yyyyy: serial number of camera)
or
65yyyyy.msf - licence file (65yyyyy: serial number of camera)

To update the CAMAT software proceed as follows:

 1. Connect the camera to a PC using a RS232 serial cable.

 2. Start a terminal program on the PC (procomm, telix, etc.).

 3. Set the terminal parameters of the chosen port to 9.600 baud,
8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity.

 4. While holding down the "Esc"-key on the PC, reboot the camera.

 5. After some boot messages, a camera prompt '$' should be seen
on the terminal. If not repeat from step 4.

 6. Press the <Enter> on the PC several times.

 7. Type in "er"<Enter>. The flash-EEPROM will be erased.

 8. Type in "lo"<Enter>.

 9. Initiate the "upload ASCII file"-mechanism on the terminal
and select file "caxxx11x.msf". Uploading will take 30-60 min.

10. If the message "S-record load succesful" appears, repeat
steps 8 and 9 with the file "51yyyyy.msf" or "65yyyyy.msf". This will take
    several seconds.

11. If the message "S-record load succesful" appears again,
you are done. Connect the camera to the keypad and the
video monitor and reboot the camera: the system is ready
    for programming.
